Anaheim Twestival Raises Money for Charity Water

Update: The first Twestival in Anaheim that was held in Febrary, has raised almost $200 so far for Charity Water. Way to go Anaheim, but let’s keep it up! Thanks to all who showed up and donated and we look forward to meeting again for the next Twestival Event. There are new wells being drilled from the money raised and updates on the projects, along with videos and photos can be found at Charity Water website. Please continue to donate to this great cause and stay tuned for updates on the next event.

Twestival Anaheim Tonight at 7pm

Come out tonight and meet your fellow Twitters. Twestival Anaheim is tonight at 7pm at the Sheraton Park in Anaheim, next to the Convention Center. The event will be in the lobby bar and will start at 7pm and go until about 10pm. We hope to see you all there.

It’s a Social, It’s a Mixer, It’s Twestival Anaheim

Here are the details for the event, it’s open to the public, and free to get come and socialize. Please spread the word so that we can have a fun and productive social mixer.

What: Anaheim Twestival 2009 Social Mixer

Where: Sheraton Park in Anaheim off Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave. - Lobby Bar

When: Thursday Feb. 12, 2009, at 7pm in their Lobby Bar

Why: Meet and engage with other Twitter members and help out a good cause, Charity: Water.

Please feel free to show up as it’s for all of Orange County and this is the only Twestival Event in the OC area. All the major cities are having them the same night and there is on in LA, San Fran, and San Diego as well.

We have a location for the event this Thursday. We will be socializing and mixing at the Sheraton Park in Anaheim off Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave. This event will start at 7pm, and will go till around 10pm. Please be sure to bring good spirits as well as consider a donation for the event charity.

Looking for possible spots to host event

We are currently taking suggestions for locations to the event. They org says that we should use a bar or restaurant, as they would have the adequate means to host it, as well as it supports a local business. So, if you own a local bar or restaurant, or know a good place to have a gathering of socially minded people than please feel free to comment or contact us directly.

Here We Go Anaheim Let’s Get Ready For Twestival 09

That’s Right! Anaheim, CA is hosting their own Twestival this year in support of the Charity: Water project. The event will be held on Febrary 12, at 7pm. The location of the event is still being secured but stay tuned for posts about the location and directions. We look forward to seeing everyone in the local area there.
